I’m the person behind Happier HQ.

I spent years watching smart, capable people lose hours to spreadsheets that fought them instead of helping them. Formulas nobody trusted. “Systems” held together with color coding and hope. Work is hard enough without your own tools working against you, and that’s the itch Happier HQ scratches. I kept seeing this exact problem everywhere, and nothing out there was actually built to fix it.

Before this, I spent over a decade in finance and accounting, working through controller and manager-level roles, financial close, multi-entity accounting, and system implementation across real estate, property management, and investment environments. I’ve led teams, redesigned processes to cut hours of manual work out of month-end close, and set up and maintained accounting systems for organizations managing well over a thousand partnership entities and investment funds. I picked up an MBA along the way, too. I still work in financial and accounting systems today, and Happier HQ is where I get to fix the parts of that world that usually just get complained about.
