Terms of Service

These terms cover Spreadsheet Triage, Spreadsheet Builder, and Spreadsheet System, the services offered by Happier HQ. By ordering one of these services you’re agreeing to the terms below.

What this service is

Happier HQ reviews, builds, and improves spreadsheets. That’s it. We look at structure, formulas, and workflow, and we tell you what’s wrong and how to fix it, or we build you something new from scratch.

This is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice, and nothing we deliver should be treated as such. If a decision depends on tax or legal accuracy, please confirm it with a licensed professional.

Turnaround

Spreadsheet Triage reports are delivered within 3 business days of us receiving your file. Spreadsheet Builder and Spreadsheet System projects are quoted with their own timeline before work starts, since scope varies.

Payment

Payment is collected up front through Stripe before work begins. We never see or store your card details ourselves.

Refunds

If we’re unable to identify a usable improvement in your spreadsheet, we’ll refund the Triage fee in full. Once your Triage Report has been delivered, the review itself is considered complete and isn’t refundable, though we’re always willing to answer follow up questions about it. Custom Builder and System projects follow the refund terms agreed on in your quote.

Your responsibilities

You’re responsible for sending a file you have the right to share, and for the accuracy of the data in it. We’ll treat everything you send as confidential, details are on our Security page.

Ownership

Once delivered and paid for, the spreadsheet, report, or system we build for you is yours to use and modify however you like.

Limitation of liability

We do our best to make your spreadsheet more accurate and reliable, but we can’t guarantee it will be error free, and we’re not liable for decisions made using it. Always sanity check important numbers before relying on them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the services change. The current version will always be posted on this page.
